SUMMER THERAPY GROUP FOR TEENAGERS STARTING SHORTLY
Is your child, or a child you know, struggling with an emotional issue or mental health difficulty at the moment?
Perhaps they have experienced a bereavement, family break up, bullying or other upsetting situation and are feeling very sad, or it has affected their confidence or self-esteem.
Maybe they are feeling anxious, and this could be affecting school attendance, or causing other problems.
Or perhaps they are having difficulties controlling their anger, and this is affecting relationships and family life.
The aim of our groups is to help children and young people cope with difficult feelings and learn to express them in healthy ways.
Parents/carers are offered the opportunity to spend some time with our Parenting Practitioner for support and management advice, while their child is attending the group sessions.
Feedback from previous participants and their parents has been extremely positive, with everyone finding our groups very beneficial.
We do not charge for these groups, but if you are able to make a donation towards our costs that is very much appreciated.
Places are limited and teenagers will need an assessment before being accepted in to the group, so do complete one of our referral forms and send it to us as soon as possible.
