Leave Us A Gift in Your Will
Legacies can change lives. Leaving a gift to Nature and Nurture in your will could help support desperate and vulnerable children and young people for years to come, and make a lasting difference to their lives.
Our work is dependent upon grants and the generosity of our supporters. Gifts left in Wills (legacies) are especially important. Such gifts may be large or small, but their effect on a child or young person’s future can be life changing, and sometimes even life saving.
Once you have looked after your loved ones, please consider remembering us in your will. Your gift would make a lasting difference to a child or young person’s life.
There are 3 types of legacies: a fixed sum of money (pecuniary), a percentage of the net value of your estate (residuary) or individual possessions. If you are not sure about what kind of gift you would like to give, talk to your solicitor who will be able to advise you further.
How Do I Leave a Legacy?
If you already have a Will and would like to leave Nature and Nurture a legacy, you can make a addition or change to your Will without re-writing it. This addition is called a codicil, and is a simple document which needs to be drawn up by your solicitor to be legally binding. You will need to give them the following information about us:
Name: Nature and Nurture (Midlands) CIC
Address: Sunshine Barn, Church Farm, Osmaston, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. DE6 1LX
Community Interest Company Registration No: 08195025
If you do not have a Will, but are considering writing one, we recommend using a qualified solicitor or Will writer. Even if you haven’t made a Will, making a pledge to leave a gift in your Will in the future would really help us find out about your future intentions and enable us to plan for the future.
If you wish to make a pledge, you can download the form below and send it to us. Pledges are not legally binding so by filling out this form you are not committing yourself! You are simply allowing Nature and Nurture to confidently estimate future support for our work.
Please note however that this form is not legally binding on its own and has to be part of your main will. We advise you to seek the advice of a solicitor.
Give in Memory
When a loved one dies, many people want to make a donation to a good cause that was particularly meaningful to that person, and its a wonderful way to remember them. Donations collected in memory of a loved one will help Nature and Nurture to continue their valuable work.
You can celebrate the life of a loved one by requesting that friends and family make a donation in lieu of giving flowers at a funeral or memorial service.
