Fundraise for Us Yourself
We have been very touched to receive money raised by individuals who have wanted to support us in the past. For example, local Mum Barbara Southam completed three amazing challenges following the tragic death of her young son and donated some of the money she raised to us, as she strongly believes that he might not have taken his own life if he had been able to access a service like Nature and Nurture.
Local schoolgirl Jessica Harding gave a talk about us at her school to raise awareness, organised a non-uniform day and held a bake sale all of which raised a fantastic £1435.04 for us! She also made this video to help us with fundraising.
A group of musicians, ‘Moore and Moore Beer’, collected money for us at their gigs throughout 2016 and helped raise awareness of our work with their audiences.
Our patron, Lady Philippa Walker-Okeover, took part in a 5k obstacle challenge and fun mud run.
Local couple Allie and Juergen Klein held an ‘Open Garden’ at their home .
Could you do something for us? Here’s some ideas to inspire you!
- Have a collection in your school or workplace
- Organise your own event for us e.g. a bake sale, coffee morning, car wash, non-uniform day at school
- Take part in a sponsored challenge of some kind
If you need help to publicise your event, or need any other support, give us a call and we will be happy to help!
